We’re postponing our after school garden build day from this Thursday to Friday, April 3rd at 10:00 AM.
Since public schools are on spring break, we’re hoping to have a few extra friends join us in the garden!
Plans for the day:
Install our strawberry patch
Expand our mud kitchen space
Put together personal seed kits for kids to take home

We’re looking forward to our first after school garden club this Thursday! We’ll be making pavers, planting strawberries, and getting some root veggies in our newest bed!

Hi friends! Due to the weather and incoming rain & wind, we are cancelling Garden Groove for today. Sorry to have to make this call, but I’d rather keep everyone safe, warm, and dry and save our garden fun for a better day.
In the meantime, I wanted to share a little update from our bean experiment 🌱 All our beans sprouted yesterday in all three containers! The bean in the coke can did pop up first though!

Rob and I got all three beans to sprout! The bush bean just beat out the lima bean for earliest, but both sprouted on day 3. The mardi gras bean sprouted day 4! All three went into small starter pots today! Happy gardening everyone, cant wait to see some of you on Monday :)

We will be starting at 10:00am on Mondays from next week on! 9:30a seemed to rush all of us, and we don't need that on a Monday morning :)

What a great start to our Monday Garden Club season! 🌱
Thank you to everyone who joined us this week. Together we cleaned up last year’s very first Garden Groove bed, refreshed the soil, and planted a new wildflower patch. It felt really special to begin the season in the same little space where it all started. We’re excited to watch it grow and bloom for years to come.
The kids also weighed pinecones and sticks for our garden log, turned the compost and explored the soil, and started our group germination experiment — one seed, three containers to see which environment grows our bush beans best!
Everyone also took home a mini experiment: three different beans in the same environment to see which one germinates the fastest.
Such a fun and curious first day with this group.
Next Monday we’ll dig deeper into compost and the kids will get…

Hi Everyone!!
I am the public realitions representative for Matteo Ruiz. My real name is Tanya Del Priore aka Mia by Matteo.
I am his calendar coordinator and shuttle bus to events where he can connect and learn.
Matteo is on the spectrum and a Gestalt Language Learner. He has taught us so much. Speech at the Beach has taught us how to model speech with him at his pace and also how he learns language.
I look forward to connecting with others and those who are Matteo’s peers.
I am Matteo’s public relations representative because I am retired and can devote my day to his needs while his mom works full time for the insurance benefits to give Matteo his best life.
So excited to share Matteo with you and to see him grow much more in is life.
